About

During his formative years Benjamin was working as a runner and a camera assistant on numerous television shows and films. Deciding that ‘I better get an education’ he began a BA in Film & Video at the  London College of Printing. During this time a love and passion for editing was discovered. So the next stop was to the prestigious National Film and Television School to study an MA in Film & Television specialising in Film Editing.


Since leaving the NFTS, in 2003, Benjamin has been working as a freelance film editor, editing a number of successful long form project ranging from documentaries broadcast on the BBC to independent feature films. One film edited by Benjamin, ‘The Living and the Dead’, has become a cult hit.


From 2008 Benjamin has been primarily editing TV commercials and online branded content. Recently he has been moving back to where he started, drama editing the award winning short ‘Little Shit’ which won the Best Film at the London Short Film Festival 2018 and was nominated for Best British Short at the London’s Critics Awards 2019.
